Georg Wolff has been a Research Associate at the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities since December 2022, Academy of Sciences and Humanities responsibilities in the areas of the Young Academy | HAdW digital media. He is also a lecturer at the Curt Engelhorn Chair of American History at Heidelberg University.
He studied history and political science at Heidelberg University. In 2021, he earned his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Arts there with his dissertation titled “Conservative Mujahideen: Young Americans for Freedom’s Crusade for Conservatism.” The dissertation was awarded thePrize . From October 2020 to November 2022, he served as a research assistant at the Curt Engelhorn Chair of American History. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2020, he was a research assistant at the DFG Research Training Group “Authority and Trust” at the Heidelberg Center for American Studies.
