Ecology Award from the Viktor & Sigrid Dulger Foundation
The Ecology Prize, donated by the Viktor & Sigrid Dulger Foundation (external link), has been awarded for many years. It honors young scientists who, regardless of their discipline, make an important contribution to the protection of nature and the environment.
The Prize worth 10,000 euros.
Who can be nominated?
The Prize awarded to a young researcher for outstanding scientific work. The proposed works must have been accepted as scientific achievements by a university or research institute in the state of Baden-Württemberg and must have been published or submitted for publication within the past two years.
Nominees for the award should be no older than 35. If several candidates have made equally significant contributions, the Prize may be awarded Prize in equal shares.
Who is allowed to make suggestions?
- all members of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities
- the management of all academic institutions at universities in Baden-Württemberg (rectorates, deaneries, executive directors, institute management)
- the management of all non-university research institutions in Baden-Württemberg (executive directors)
- Unsolicited applications are not accepted.
