Exceptional achievement deserves recognition. That is why the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities awards Academy of Sciences and Humanities science prizes for outstanding scientific achievements in both the natural sciences and the humanities.

In 2006, entrepreneur Viktor Dulger established this Prize scientific work that contributes to the protection of nature and the environment.

The entrepreneur Dr. Dr. h.c. Manfred Fuchs established this Prize to support young scientists.
Otto SchmeilPrize
The Schmeil Foundation Prize this Prize in 2016 in memory of the biologist Otto Schmeil.
Manfred LautenschlägerPrize
Entrepreneur Dr. h.c. Manfred Lautenschläger is establishing this Prize to honor works in the humanities by young researchers.
HectorPrize

Der Preis wurde aus Anlass des 100. Geburtstags des Heidelberger Philosophen Karl Jaspers im Jahr 1983 gestiftet. Er wird von der Stadt Heidelberg und der Universität Heidelberg in Kooperation mit der Akademie vergeben.
