Nomination Deadline
Nominations may be submitted from March 1 through June 30 of each year. Multiple nominations are permitted.
For the 2027 call for nominations, the deadline has been extended to September 4, 2026!
Who may submit nominations?
As a rule, members of the Academy as well as senior administrators of all university research institutions and all non-university research institutes in the state of Baden-Württemberg are eligible to submit nominations. Self-nominations are not permitted. For detailed information on the nomination requirements, please refer to the pages for the respective Award.
What must be submitted?
Please submit the following documents for your candidate for all Awards:
Cover Sheet
Dokument- Justification for your proposal (maximum of two pages)
- Resume
- List of Publications
- Award-Winning Work
For the Academy Prize, the Walter Witzenmann Award, and the Manfred Lautenschläger Award, please submit in addition the two doctoral or postdoctoral evaluation reports. For detailed information, please visit the pages for the respective Awards.

Where should the documents be submitted?
