Hemorrhagic fever caused by hantavirus infections results in several hundred deaths in China each year. In Europe, too, life-threatening hantavirus variants have become increasingly common in recent years. The aim of this research project was to use recombinant methods to produce human monoclonal antibodies from patients in remission.
