Mark Grundeken is Junior Professor of New Testament Literature and Exegesis at the University of Freiburg and spokesperson for the Academy College of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences. Christoph Strohm is Professor of Reformation History and Modern Church History at the University of Heidelberg.

The fourth episode features Dr. Georg Wolff in conversation with Prof. Dr. Manfred Berg. The topic is social division in the USA. Georg Wolff has a doctorate in American history and works at the Heidelberg Academy's administrative office; Academy member Manfred Berg is a professor of American history at Heidelberg University and is known to a wider audience through his contributions to ZEIT, ZEIT Geschichte, and ARD-Brennpunkt.
