Interdisciplinary perspectives on change
WIN Workshop Organized by: Dr. Simone Mayer (Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research, Tübingen), Dr. Christian Mahringer (University of Stuttgart)
Workshop of the WIN project : Stabilizing and Destabilizing Processes of Change. Insights from Brain and Software Development (internal link)
Workshop Overview
Change has been a central topic in research across many disciplines. This workshop aims to bring together scholars from different disciplines who study change, such as management and organizational research, climate change research, physics, linguistics, and biology. A central theme of the workshop is the insights generated by the “Routines.Research.Community,” which has been investigating changes in organizational routines over the past two decades. The aim of the workshop, therefore, is to stimulate a discussion about change across disciplinary boundaries and to transfer, synthesize, and generate new knowledge about this important concept.
