Mental Stability – How Do We Find Our Balance?

"We conduct research. For you." I: Mental Well-being – How Do We Find Our Balance?

Perhaps you’ve experienced this in your own daily life, or you know someone who has gone through something like this. You might be wondering why this happens and how to prevent it. Sometimes, news events or environmental factors can throw us off balance and destabilize us emotionally. When we lose our balance, it depends on many different factors.

What are these factors? Does it depend on how information and risks are communicated? Does timing play a role? How should we deal with this? How can we influence our mental well-being? How can we take care of ourselves and others? Men are more likely to take their own lives than women. How do men’s and women’s thoughts and behaviors differ? What barriers prevent men from seeking help? Why, for example, do men go for cancer screenings less often?

The presentation provides insights into our research.
