The Twilight of the Castles? The Residence and the City at the End of the Old Empire
Keynote Lecture as part of the 2023 Spring School of the Hof | Music | City Research Center
From March 28 to 31, 2023, the Hof | Musik | StadtResearch Center (internal link), based in Schwetzingen, will host a spring school on source research in the music history of southwestern Germany around 1800. In addition to lectures by renowned experts, the program includes excursions designed to provide insights into archives and collections, familiarize participants with working with sources, and visit locations in the region where music history comes to life.
The keynote lecture, which will take place as part of the Spring School, will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Eva-Bettina Krems (University of Münster).
