Reuchlin Prize

The Reuchlin Prize is an award recognizing outstanding work in the humanities written in German. The Prize awarded every three years by the City of Pforzheim (external link).

The prize founder

In 1955, to mark the 500th anniversary of the birth of Johannes Reuchlin—arguably Pforzheim’s most famous son—the Pforzheim City Council established the Prize the Promotion of the Humanities.

This Prize awarded Academy of Sciences and Humanities the City of Pforzheim(external link) upon the recommendation of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities .
