Organization of the Young Academy

The Young Academy brings together various funding initiatives of the Academy:

Atthe WIN-Kolleg, young scientists from Baden-Württembergindependently leadinterdisciplinary projects(internal link). The WIN-Kolleg is divided into WIN subprograms, which generally run for five years and comprise several scientific projects. Membership in the WIN College is limited to the period of active participation in one of the ongoing research topics.

TheAcademy College promotes dialogue between young and experienced scientists and between disciplines. Members of the Academy College are the Academy's award winners, alumni of the WIN College, and young scientists from Baden-Württemberg appointed by the Academy. Membership lasts for five years and can be extended once upon request.

TheWIN conferences(internal link) enable early career researchers in Baden-Württemberg to host international, interdisciplinary conferences that they have designed and organized themselves.
