Heidelberg Academic Library

HAdW publication series established in 2020

This series of publications by the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences, which began in 2020, includes ongoing publications by leading scholars in the humanities and natural sciences who shed light on various key topics.

"With the Heidelberg Academic Library, the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities aims to create a forum where members of the academy can present themselves to the interested public in a new way. [...] The idea is that each member should leave a scientific calling card here. And the sum of these contributions should reveal the cosmos of science as it is represented in the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences, with all its diversity of topics, questions, and methods."
(Quote from the foreword by editors Peter Graf Kielmansegg and Bernhard Zimmermann)
